ADA Director, Mark G. Stringer
Mark Stringer was appointed Director of the Division of Alcohol and Drug Abuse effective February 1, 2007. He previously served as Interim Deputy Director of the Department of Mental Health and deputy director of ADA. Mr. Stringer is a licensed professional counselor and nationally certified counselor with more than 22 years of experience in the mental health and substance abuse fields. Prior to government service, he directed adult and adolescent addiction treatment programs, a psychiatric outpatient clinic, and an inpatient geriatric psychiatry unit.
