Welcome to our website!
The sex offender program formerly known as the Missouri Sexual Offender Treatment Center (MSOTC) is now a service provided by the Southeast Missouri Mental Health Center (SMMHC). It is now called the Sex Offender Rehabilitation and Treatment Service (SORTS).
The Sex Offender Rehabilitation and Treatment Service is a civil involuntary program for the treatment of sexually violent predators. This group of offenders is disdained and rejected by society due to their crimes. We have been given the task of treating these individuals and safely returning them to the community. This requires a commitment to the belief that all persons can change. We must find the means to reach and treat every offender.
Please visit the various pages of our website to obtain information about our services. If you are interested in employment, there is a section to assist you in applying for available positions. We welcome your questions and comments.

Directions:
From St. Louis, take Interstate 55 South to the US-67 S exit (exit number 174B) toward Farmington. Take US-67 for 35.2 miles to Highway 221 / W exit ramp (3rd Farmington exit). Turn left at top of ramp and you will be on Columbia Street. The entrance to Southeast Missouri Mental Health Center (SMMHC) / Farmington Correctional Center (FCC) complex is approximately one mile on the right. Continue past SMMHC to the center of the complex to find SORTS.
From Cape Girardeau, take Interstate 55 North to the Ste. Genevieve (Highway 32) exit. Turn left at top of ramp, and travel west on Hwy. 32 for approximately 20 miles. At the red light in Farmington, continue straight and follow Highway W signs through the city (follow highway signs closely, as the route is not straight due to one-way streets). SORTS will be on the left at the edge of town.
