The Rolla Regional Office Resource Library provides materials and information on developmental disabilities. The Library offers numerous books, video tapes and audio tapes on topics relating to developmental disabilities.
The Resource Library is open to persons with disabilities, their families, providers, staff and the general public.
How can resources be requested?
They can be requested in person by coming to Rolla Regional Office at 105 Fairgrounds Rd, Rolla MO between the hours of 8:30am - 12pm and 1pm to 4:30pm Monday thru Friday. They may also be requested by calling Jane Kobel 573-368-2200 or 800-828-7604 or written request e-mail Jane Kobel.
How long can resources / materials be kept out?
Materials and resources are loaned out as follows: two weeks for video and audio tapes and 4 weeks for printed materials and books. The loan period can be extended for up to two weeks if there has not been a request received for the information. Extensions of time will need to be approved prior to the original due date.
How are resources returned?
Information and resources may be returned in person, by mail or may be given to their service coordinator to return to the library. If resources are lost or broken in the mail, it is the responsibility of the individual to replace those items. If an item is not returned, it will be the responsibility of the individual to replace the item(s) or pay for their replacement. Library privileges will be suspended until items are either returned or replaced
